Dear colleagues and friends,

Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 worldwide, previously we have already postponed our Conference to October this year. While we are hoping that the situation will have improved by then, we cannot be certain that all international travel and large gathering restrictions will have been fully released by that point in time.

Therefore, the organization committee of the Microdurability has taken the new decision to organize the Microdurability conference in two stages:

Stage 1: Virtual workshop: A online workshop will be organized on 12 October 2020, the same day as originally scheduled. In the online workshop, we will invite all keynote speakers, and some selected papers to present online.

Stage 2: Physical conference: A 3-day Microdurability conference will be held from 28 April to 30 April 2021, at the same venue, Madurodam, the Hague, the Netherlands. All keynote lectures and accepted papers will be presented physically.

Meanwhile, we will be open for new paper submission. The deadline for new paper submission is 31 October 2020.

Thank you for your understanding and support for the Microdurability conference. We are looking forward to welcoming you in the Hague, 28-30 April 2021.

With kind regards

The Organizing Committee of the Microdurability conference
